MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Known for combining bold designs with everyday toughness, BABY-G gets a character-inspired update with the launch of the BGD-10KPM-7, a special collaboration watch featuring Baby Molly from POP MART. CASIO Computer Co., Ltd. brings together the line’s shock-resistant construction and practical features with playful details inspired by the beloved character.
The new model is based on the BGD-10K from the BABY-G+PLUS series and comes with a special holder and strap, giving fans the option to wear it on the wrist or carry it as a bag charm.
The design is centered on Baby Molly’s recognizable features. A yellow bezel takes its cue from her hair, while switching on the LED light reveals vivid blue eyes on the LCD. The case also depicts Baby Molly’s face, making the character an integral part of the watch’s design.
Additional illustrations give the band its own personality. Alongside the Baby Molly logo is a scene of her heading to kindergarten with her best friend, Baby Tabby cat. Removing the pass-through band reveals a graphic inspired by her kindergarten name tag, while the case back features an engraving commemorating the MOLLY 20th anniversary.
For a different styling option, the watch’s bezel and band can be removed so the center case fits into the included pink holder. With its strap, the holder can be attached to a bag, and the original stickers allow for further customization. Special packaging featuring Baby Molly and Baby Tabby completes the collaboration.
The watch maintains the everyday performance expected from BABY-G, with shock resistance and 10-bar water resistance to handle bumps and rainy conditions.
The BGD-10KPM-7 will retail for ₱8,930 and launch exclusively online at the CASIO Philippines website. CASIO has yet to announce the official launch date. The model will subsequently be available at G-SHOCK stores nationwide, with updates to be shared through CASIO’s website and official social media pages.
